Keaton Whitehurst is a native of the Hampton Roads area. She began her musical training in the Virginia Children's Chorus at the age of seven and continued throughout her adolescence. Keaton was an avid member of the Maury High School choral department and also participated in the Virginia Chorale's Young Singers Project.
Keaton achieved a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory of Music and recently completed a Master's Degree in Music Education from Old Dominion University. Keaton has sung with the Virginia Symphony Chorus, Washington City Chorus, and the Virginia Chorale, all under fabulously brilliant directors.
She is currently the lead soprano at
Christ & St. Luke's Church, Norfolk, and works with the Chorister program there. Keaton also has been working as a rehearsal assistant with the Virginia Children's Chorus.
She has always loved two things: music and children, so with this studio she is finally able to combine the two and put her stamp on the next generation of singers in Hampton Roads!
